Motion menus
A menu which contains a video clip instead of a still picture is known as
motion menu. Motion menus can have audio tracks. Another form of motion menu
is a still picture with accompanied audio tracks. A motion menu can be present
in the Video Manager domain as a title menu or any VTS menu domain as one
of the predefined VTS menus (root, angle, chapter, audio, subpicture).
The video clip and its audio track are usually contained in a single cell in
the PGC having the menu. The cell has a command (see
LinkPGN
or
LinkCN) to repeat the playback of the cell.
The display layer of a motion menu is the video clip. The mask and highlight layer
work the same way as in still menus.
