Here you can enter a screen name to identify yourself to other file-sharing users. You can change the screen name later at any time.

You need to enter your correct physical location so that WinMX can optimize the searching and downloading. This would make better transfer and less wait time.

In order to get files from other users, you will have to have something to offer. This is the directory to place your files (software, audio, video, images, etc.) so other users can download from your computer. To specify the desired directory, click Browse and select the appropriate directory. Be careful with this option so that you do not inadvertently share data of your whole hard drive.
