This screen defines the default search parameters whenever the search screen is
used. How to use the search option is explained later in this document. This
example sets the default search files to be Video (.avi, .asf, .mpg, .mpeg) from
other users with a 56K connection or faster. You can set the default search files
to be music files or archive files, etc.

This is a very important setup screen. Here you can define the directory or folder where the downloaded files are stored. Click the Change... button to define or change the name of the directory or folder. It is always a good idea to check for available disk space in this directory so that we do not run out of disk space in the middle of a downloading.

This screen allows the maximum number of downloads (receiving files from other users) and the maximum number of uploads (sending files to other users). You should experiment to find out what works best for your connection speed. It is better to have a small number of downloads and uploads so each transfer can be completed before starting another one. If the number of downloads is set too high, you may end up with hundreds of incomplete transfers (hundreds of incomplete movies which you cannot see yet!). Patience pays off in this case, and you may get your wanted files faster.
