This screen is useful for users having large bandwith on their connections. You may want to limit WinMX to use only a portion of the available bandwidth.


WinMX allows different color settings for each individual display item for a particular window. The following screen shows the colors you can customize for each available item in the transfer window. The process is similar for other windows, such as Search, Ignored Users, etc.


Common Operations
The next step is to verify the contents of the shared folder or directory by clicking the "Shared Files" button as following. If you want to remove certain files or add more files to your shared folder, perform the required operations in the Windows File Manager and click the "Refresh" button to see your changes in this window. For music files, WinMX also displays the associated bitrate, play time, and sampling frequency information for each file.
