If the selected VTS is too large to fit into a DVD-R, you can split the VTS into
two discs without changing the original playback behavior by selecting a title
within the VTS to split. The selected title usually is the largest title in the
video title set. All menus and chapter selections for the VTS are preserved.
References to the missing chapters via the menu or remote control are a brief
pause and the next available chapter or the next playback sequence of this VTS
will be played. You can specify the number of chapters to be put on each split
disc to suit your own preference.
Select the "No chapters" item in the "Split after chapter" drop-down box so that
only the VTS menu structure is kept on the first split disc. The VTS backup option
should be set to "Start with menu" so that the menu will appear instead of playing
back chapters which have been removed from the original playback sequence.
If you just want to keep the menu for a collection, select "Skip Disc 2" so the
second split disc is not generated.
