If the selected VTS is too large to fit into a DVD-R, you can split the VTS into two discs without changing the original playback behavior by selecting a title within the VTS to split. The selected title usually is the largest title in the video title set.

Click the drop-down box next to the VTS backup option "Start with title" to select one of the available titles in the VTS. The playback behavior can be kept unchanged with the "Start normal" option. If you want the menu to appear, select "Start with menu" for this VTS.

All menus and chapter selections for the VTS are preserved regardless of the selected backup option. References to the missing chapters via the menu or remote control are a brief pause and the next available chapter or the next playback sequence of this VTS will be played. You can specify the number of chapters to be put on each split disc to suit your own preference.
