The DVD-Replica utility is packaged in the .zip compressed file format.
There is no installation step required for the tool to work. After downloading
you should unpack the DVD-Replica.zip file with tools such as WinZip to a folder
on your local hard drive. This package does not use the Windows registry so if
you want to remove the package, simply delete the folder where you unpack the
downloaded .zip file.
DVD-Replica does not work directly with encrypted video DVD. We do not provide
this feature so that we would not have to deal with potential legal problems
regarding the copyright and CSS infringement, and since there are already many
excellent freeware tools on the Internet such as SmartRipper which can perform
the copying of encrypted video DVDs to your hard drive with just a few clicks.
If you need help getting SmartRipper to work, visit the following web page
Guide to use SmartRipper.
Double click on the file DVD-Replica.exe to launch it. A window with four empty
tabs appear: titles, vts, dvd, and auto. The contents of these tabs are filled,
once there is an opened DVD folder. DVD-Replica supports the backup of video DVD
by titles, by vts, or by groups of dvd titles. More explanations of these features
are covered in the next sections.

Click open to select an input DVD folder. The input folder should be an unencrypted
VIDEO_TS folder which is created previously by SmartRipper or equivalent ripping
tools.
