Final result.
That does it. We can add any layer behind the text as the menu background. We can
achieve better results by rasterizing the text layer and scale down the image rather
than changing the point size of the typeface. This will give the blending options
more pixels to work with while casting lights and overlaying colors. The following
screen shots are scaled down images of the picture shown on page 1 at 50% and 25%
reduction.
Variations.
This effect blends well with primary colors. If you want to display the text on
a busy background, the stroke option with a very thin border (1 pixel) may help
the text to stand out more. The following screen shots show several variations.
